striker is perhaps a worry but bringing Sahin in might offer more chances and seeing Gerrard playing further up the pitch.

Nuri Sahin is quality all around and he will improve our first team quite a bit.

That said we still need to buy a striker and a good quality wide player.

If we don't personally the best we can expect will be the 5th place.

It is a long season and we will have injuries and our winger options are pretty unconvincing.

New guy Assaidi may or may not be good fit for PL and will need time to adjust, "I am scared of my own shadow" Downing should be sold and Sterling imo is still not ready to provide a real impact.

Downing should be sold but I can't see it happening now tbh I think the squad we have bar maybe one last minute move will be what we have to work with until at least Jan.

We need to be lucky for once with injuries and see how the land lies come Jan.
