Podolski will get his revenge next week as we absolutely pulverise them for 90mins then Pepe drops one at his feet in stoppage time. It'll be the only goal he'll score all season.

He's been subbed in both games so far just after the hour mark so I'd say it's unlikely he'll even be on the pitch thenOriginally posted by Chris View PostPodolski will get his revenge next week as we absolutely pulverise them for 90mins then Pepe drops one at his feet in stoppage time. Ages away yet, could be ****, could do his cruciate ligaments in May, might want to join anyway. If he's not in Mourinho's "trusted circle" as it is I don't think he'll get back in it either.Originally posted by Imy View PostNobody else worried what will happen at the end of the season when we can't keep him?

My 'worry' is he'll make himself integral to the team, Real Madrid will thank us for getting him firing on all cylinders and we'll be back to square one.
Sahin sounds very non committal on the issue of joining us permanently, he obviously flirted with Arsenal, whereas Mourinho sees him as the long term successor to Xabi.
Lets hope he has a stonking season, falls in love with the club and Ayres has negotiated a buy clause. We come not to play.

He's just joined on loan, lets see what happens through the season.

If that happens, then he would have been a cracking success.Originally posted by Imy View PostMy 'worry' is he'll make himself integral to the team, Real Madrid will thank us for getting him firing on all cylinders and we'll be back to square one.

If Sahin is a big success then hopefully that means a top 4 finish and CL footy.
We're in a much better position to a/ buy Sahin if Real are open the idea, or b/ buy a top quality replacement.
The Sahin loan deal is win-win for us, it really is. Let's just enjoy his talent shall we?James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

Mourinho is not a big fan and it is very likely that we will get the buy-out option after the loan is done subject that he delivers and/or doesn't get injured.Originally posted by Imy View PostNobody else worried what will happen at the end of the season when we can't keep him?Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club
