It seems obvious to most of us but it'll be a massive call for BR when Lucas is fit again. What do we do? I'd move Gerrard into the front 3 but I'm sure he won't want that. Gerrard, Allen, Lucas, Sahin and Shelvey competing for 3 positions. In reality, it's Lucas, Sahin and Shelvey competing for one spot because Gerrard and Allen are undroppable.

Lucas & Stevie seem to spend a fair bit of time on the injury table so I doubt we'll see all of them fit at the same time. Otherwise Gerrard in the front 3 is always a possibility but we can also rotate them to keep them fresh. Then bring Hendo on when the games won.

I'd play Gerrard further forwards and we should certainly be doing all we can to keep Sahin on a perm deal.Comment

Also, I don't think Hendersons LFC career is done......I reckon he will eventually flourish if he is patient with things, works hard and fights for the shirt.....
In reality it is a squad game and we need as many good players as possible....
Gerrard, Allen, Sahin, Lucas, Shelvey, Henderson all going for midfield positions is great though.....
If we needed to, then we could play 5 of them in one team.....Shelvey and Gerrard can both play further up the pitch and so can Stevie.....and Sahin too......
Barcelona sometimes fit xavi, iniesta, busquets, fabregas, tiago alcantera all into the same team......Comment

They also have Messi for when them lot are in each others way to grab the game by the bollocks.. Not to mention they are all on another level!
I think personally it will be very hard to keep Sahin.. The better he does the more interest will develop outside of Madrid who may even keep him themselves and that's where he wants to be according to press before the move here.Vive la FranceComment
