I agree, the guy is proper quality. Am sure he is thinking what the ****, came here to play and is sitting on bench. Could have been sitting on a warm bench is sunny Madrid challenging for titles and champions league but ends up on a cold bench in northeren England not challenging for anything!. He prefers to play as a deep CM but he isn't really combative enough for that position in the EPL. He reminds me of a short Veron. I knew next to nothing about him whilst others raved. to be fair seems early to be getting rid when he hasn't had a fair crack. perhaps the wages and the fact that lucas is fit & henderson has kicked on has left him with nowhere to go. what could of been. he'd have benefitted coming into a winning team rather than one that has struggled for results and form.Always borrow money from a pessimist. Yep, he's not being used so might as well free up some more funds. ****ing huge disappointment though - we haven't signed anyone with a pedigree like his since Suarez. It could just be that he's one of those players who has the class but isn't suited to the style of the PL.
If I recall correctly his two/three games for us when he looked decent came in the League Cup and Europa League. Not one decent league performance.A humble guy with healthy desire.Comment
