Either way, it does appear Rodgers didn't choose them himself.
Maybe they put forward their opinion or something. The only person who wasn't there was Dave Fallows (Man City). Everyone else had been hired.

I find it hard to believe a Director of Communications would have signed players for us. That's a whole new level of bizarreness, considering it's got to be sanctioned by Ayre and FSG.

Yeah, like I said it's difficult to imagine how it would be even possible.

It'll all come out one day.

Haha. Have you noticed how sometimes he says "Like as I said"?

'Like I said', 'Like I say', 'OK'. Even Pascoe was at it before and after the QPR game. It's infectious.

Speaking of Pascoe - it made me LOL how you never see him in glasses, yet when he was manager for the day, on went the specs! Trying to look intelligent

If you didn't know his name, you'd probably guess it was Colin

                          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Not in the squad again today he must be off or we are trying to shift him at least.

Sahin apparently said that he met Rodgers twice and he convinced sahin to sign. Assaidi is a different matter.
