Why would Gerrard be jealous of Sahin?

This bit also comes from the article on the Bild website:
It comes to 99 percent, as it had to. Nuri Sahin (24) returns to his old club Borussia Dortmund. Because he has been betrayed at Liverpool because coach Brendan Rogers has lied to him when he said, "You will with me the number six."
This bit is great too:
Liverpool - the game of table Make the English Premier League is that of a frightened chicken pile - was a big mistake

At this point no.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostMaybe we know he won't stay here in the summer. If so there's not much point trying to build him into the first team this season really.
BR doesn't seem to think he can contribute to the team in the way most of hoped for and he came in with intentions of getting more playing time and clearly that won't happen with us now.Member #1 of the Luis Suarez fan club

Flmao, "wasn't passed to" indeed.
Not sure whether the injury has done something or whether he just wasn't coming to terms with the football & life over here but during the time he was given on the pitch, and presumably in training too, he simply hasn't done enough to justify a place in the team.
Rodgers, who quite obviously picks players on merit... you just have to look at how Henderson has forced his way back into the reckoning after almost being sold to Fulham for not a lot to see that... just cannot have been seeing enough from Sahin. Given he was only going to be here for another few months, moving him on and saving the wages seems eminiently sensible to me.I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

Also, if what he's allegedly said in Bild is true, then his attitude was probably troubling BR too, not just the football side, but his whole demanor, it's obvious if the remarks are true that he felt his place in the team was almost guaranteed.Last edited by Vermilion; 10-01-13, 10:37 AM.
