The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
If Nani gets back up he probably just gets a yellow but the fact he stayed down for a couple of minutes then feigning injury the ref has time for a chat and pull out the red.
The replay of the red card incident from behind the players gives the clearest view. While many refs would have given yellows you can definitely see how it could be seen as a red IMO.
Is right actually - changed my mind. I don't think it's worthy of a red. But can see why I guess.
