I think its because we've moved on from Alonso but we didn't move forwards so its easy to compare.
If we had £15m to spend on a CM in the summer I'd think there are much better options out there than Alonso. Strootman for example, a player who is starting his career and has his story a head of him.Vive la FranceComment
