No, I don't think £7m is cheap enough for him to be worth a punt, not when you consider his wages would be £3-4M per season and he has a dodgy knee. According to wiki his goal stats are impressive but he doesn't have as many appearances as you would expect for a bloke of 27.
    Never knowingly optimistic

Another one living in fantasy land if you think £7m is overpaying for someone who scored 19 goals in 38 last season in English football. In today's market £7m would be a bargain.

Again 38 games last season. I don't see an issue with that.

        De Plane.... De Plane...

Or was that the midget in The Man with The golden gun who said 'De plane De Plane...mr Scaramanga. ?

EDIT: So yeah, 7mill for Ba, suits me fine in jan, depending on his salary.

          We don't have much cash.

Ba would have improved the team more than forking out all that cash on Borini.

There are concerns over his knee (I believe) but he's proven over the last 18 months that he can cut it in the Premier League.

Or maybe we could keep our best player and add one or two of those you mentioned.

He would have to get some goals between now and January to be worth that much. Then we might as well keep him

Hasn't he got dodgy knees? If thats the case no thanks. We already overpaid for one Newcastle one season wonder so i doubt Rodgers will be that soft too fall for it.

Based on a report from the Daily Star.

I wouldn't take that deal anyway.

Known our luck he will no doubt do his knee in again and be out for 6 months. The days of buying injury prone players from newcastle appear too be over under Rodgers. He wouldn't give Carroll back to them on principle anyway by the looks of it.
