I've always raved about Wisdom, I think he's class. Stepped up big time last night. He's obviously a CB but he is decent enough on the ball to play RB. Lots of good CBs have started out as fullbacks so I wouldnt be against us playing him there again.
I'd have him competing against Kelly, I really don't think he's far behind him now at all.
Another one who might benefit from going out on loan somewhere for a while.

feel sorry for flanagan. when he burst onto the scene he was raved about and put in some good solid displays. when he got injured last year and missed a chunk of the season he must have been raging. kelly hasnt really done it at right back and with enrique stinking the house at at left back the possibiltty of johnson playing left meant the right fullback role was up for grabs. but now wisdom has had a stormer there is more competition for him.People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

I'll have a go. Is it zero?.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

Not entirely sure but I would suggest he has played the vast majority of his senior football as a right back. Which would seem to suggest that he may have developed from a CB into a fullback at this point.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI'll have a go. I had a brief Google and apparently he came on as sub for Kyrgiakos against Chelsea once - was there a reshuffle?Originally posted by Shaggy View PostThe answer is zero. :handshaje:"The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

good to see the lad getting a chance and not fluffing it. looked quite composed, a good prospect.
wrt; hes a centre back...
many players have come to our club from reserves or other teams to play a certain position, but have had to fit in where needed and ended up making such a good job of it they then get considered for another position as being their preferred starting position. maybe he has done more game time as a CB, but who knows where he will end up, just so long as he adds to the quality of the team.
look at the likes of kuyt, lucas, bellamy, carra, stevie, etc.removing all the weak links makes us stronger
too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Last night has given everyone loads of optimism. I reckon Wisdom could be the new Kelly. And Kelly could become the new Carragher.......not by hoofing it up field with every kick of the ball but by moving from full back to centre back..... Coates could become the new Agger but not until Agger leaves. Hopefully Agger will stay for a few years yet and eventually become the new Hyypia.
As for Suso, he can become the new Jonjo Shelvey......who will be busy because he is going to be the new Gerrard. Gerrard is in danger of becoming a squad player and therefore becoming the new John Barnes - as in his latter years at LFC - but then again I can never see Gerrard managing someone like Tranmere. Meanwhile Sterling is going to become the new John Barnes but not the John Barnes that Gerrard will become....more like the new "old" John Barnes.
We can probably all still agree though.......Downing is still useless.....
