Good move for Wisdom & LFC

Hopefully he'll get regular games there and come back with a season of PL experience, ready to challenge for first team football.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Good move for him. Not sure he has a future here tbh.

On talent or because of teh players he has ahead of him?

If he has a good eason at WBA (hopefully at CB), then that would maybe allow us to sell Agger or Skrtel (whoever isn't sold this year) next year and Wisdom could easily get enough games covering for CB and RB.

Also depends on Ilori too I guess, but I still have high hopes for Wisdom.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I don't think he's totally out of the running yet. There's potential there and if he has a good season with West Brom I could see him back next season.

Either way I think he'll end up being good enough for a Premier League team.

i really want him to succeed - he has the potential imo to be a top class defender.

Maybe (hopefully) we just feel this season is one season two early for him to be a regular for us - and if he gets a good full season under his belt at WBA and develops then come next season he should hopefully be in a position to challenge for a spot here.

it would be great if Sakho gets going, Lovren comes in - Skrtel/Agger provide cover

then the season after have Sakho/Lovren/Skrtel/Wisdom and hopefully Ilori as our centre back options, with the advantage that Wisdom covers right back as well

More the calibre of players who will be ahead of him. Not sure how easy it will be for a young CB to break into this team - just such a critical position to risk.

Agreed, and he may yet have a chance. However I fear that chance may only come if this season we regress....if we do well again and qualify for the CL again, then it will be that much harder for him.

I think CB's come good with age, so loaning him out & giving him some first team action with us will help him gain valuable experience.

He's only 21, he's got probably at least 15 years ahead of him. Another year on loan does him no harm and allows us another chance to assess whether he'll be good enough without risking him in our own games.

Good move for all parties I think.

Has Lescott gone to WBA too? Wisdom will learn nothing from him about building from the back but he may pick up some defensive tips.

Yes, he is gone to WBA and reportedly unsettled at his new club because of the lack of investment according to metro yesterday.

Didn't check my facts and wasn't sure if he had gone elsewhere. Should be good for Wisdom's defensive development save for Lescott's tendency to panic when pressurised in possession.
