Hull in a bit of trouble.
Might need to spend some money if they have any left
Hull boss Steve Bruce has been dealt an almighty blow with strikers Nikica Jelavic and Abel Hernandez both facing up to six weeks on the sidelines.
The pair were withdrawn during Saturday's 1-0 defeat at West Brom, which saw the Tigers slip back into the relegation zone.
Croatian striker Jelavic injured his knee at the Hawthorns, while club record signing Hernandez suffered an adductor muscle problem.
And Bruce's worst fears were realised in a club statement on Tuesday, confirming the severity of the problems.
It read: "Scans have shown that Nikica Jelavic sustained no serious damage to his knee at West Brom on Saturday although he is expected to be sidelined for between three and six weeks.
"Abel Hernandez, who also pulled up during the defeat at The Hawthorns, has a small grade two tear of his adductor muscle, for which the normal recovery time-frame is around four to six weeks."
Bruce was forced to deploy Robbie Brady and Tom Ince as makeshift front men at West Brom with no recognised first-team strikers in his squad.
Sone Aluko, who missed the weekend defeat with a calf problem, has an outside chance of featuring against West Ham on Saturday.
