            Strachan is a great choice for Scotland manager.
            Not done much managing in England but had some big Euro wins with Celtic, and played at the highest level (World cup and Europe).

                    He got it wrong at Boro but that place was on a trajectory anyway. He should have been appointed after McLeish, 2 poor choices in succession by the sfa.

                    Thing is, the Scotland squad (central defence aside) is as good as it has been for a long time, a sensible manager playing players in position should be able to get better results than the last 2 fools.
