Does it matter how hard he went down? He was hit by a fan, that's not acceptable. IMO there should be a debate about why these fans did this.
It was at Hillsborough, surely these people have stewards and police in place after what happened there. People on the radio last night were saying it was like going back to the 80s. The Stewards were ushering people down the front who were standing in the gangways. It beggars belief. Both fans are as bad as each other. SW fans were signing about Istanbul, and Leeds fans were reacting.
Someone also said on the radio, an MP I think, that the Shef Wednesday band were the ones leading the songs about Istanbul. These guys get preferential treatment because of who they are. ****ing idiots.
To be fair, it looks like a palm strike which can be just as affective as a closed fist. If you get blind sided by someone, the shock and disorientation could be enough for him to go down.
Find the scumbag, ban him for life, give him a custodial sentence and ban Leeds away support for 5 games.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
