1992 - Leeds pip manU to their first title. Instead of pushing on, the defending champions leeds finish 17th.

1995 - Dalglish's Blackburn look really strong and win the league, he quits and rovers are eventually relegated

1998 - Wenger builds a great team but to be fair manU had one of the best midfields in the world between 1999 - 2001 and they win 3 titles on the spin.

2005 - With Jose & the billions chelsea are all set to be the dominant force for years after back to back titles. The idiots then go and sack him.

2010 - Although LFC didnt win the league, they were certainley building towards it. Instead they sack Rafa

2010 - Chelsea again press the destruct button again sacking Ancalotti after winning the league.

2012 - City win it and have the structure in place to dominate for years. Then they start all this internal bull****.
    Seriously?

The best team wins the league every year.

Yep your totally correct, the best team always wins it. (apart from in 2009)

However over the past 20 years all of the other teams just seem to **** things up for themselves just when it looks like its all starting to click into place. Blackburn, Chelsea and now City all had the structures in place to dominate for a good few years, yet they all let the mancs sneak back in.

Chelsea look like they're trying to get back to those ways, they just completely took their foot off the gas for a couple of years and let players have too much power.

United will win it this year though I fear.

City seriously need to have a think because this year Chelsea brought in Hazard, United got Van Persie and they ended up with Scott Sinclair

Can see Chelsea being in for Falcao as early as January and if they managed that I could see them pushing United all the way. Next challenge for Chelsea is replacing the rest of the old guard.

Courtois seems like a pretty obvious replacement for Cech
Cole cost them this weekend and I don't really rate Bertrand
Lampard has already been fazed out with Ramirez taking over

If they could get Falcao this year and add a CB and improve on Mikel next year they'll be hard to see past.

I think the mancs will win it this year, the refs seem very adamant. There are whispers about that this could be Ferguson's last season so I can see why there is strong interest in them winning their 20th title.

            Incredible.

Also he could/should have given away a couple of pens so far this season.

Yeah i can see the mancs winning it this season, although there's a long way to go. Fair play to them, and the refs!. They've had a tough start: everton (a), liverpool (a), chelsea (a), arseanl (h) & spurs (h) yet they currently sit top.

At the beginning of the season i predicted City to win it, but they just seem to have lost that attacking touch. It seems that Mancini has turned into a bit of a tinkerman, for no reason whatsoever. He's got the best squad in the league by a country mile, yet at times this season their attacking play has looked dire.

I saw Mancini's body language at the match yesterday, and in the post-match interview - and it just doesn't seem right. Either he seems to have lost a bit of interest, or he's trying to be a bit too clever and he's trying to show his board his displeasure.

Having said all of that, being a point off top with the best squad and 28 games to play is still not a bad position to be in.

This could be one hell of an expensive appointment of Hughes

His technique of tackling when someone is running straight at him is appalling, he's a ****ing ****house and it's how's, he kinda does a straight legged launch stoods showing, usually two footed...can't believe more isn't made of it

                              Not that I'm aware of.
