Wasn't the one I was thinking of, but that's still a good thread.

This must have been a couple of years ago. I've searched and can't find it so it must have been kicked into row z.
    Hello mert.

Gets right on my titties, that phrase.
Likewise, I hate any mention of "squeaky bum time" or "mind games".
That rug really tied the room together.

"Good touch for a big man". Feck me. If they are playing in the PL you can generally assume they are going to be able to control the thing.

Don't know if it's common in England but I constantly have to put up with:

                            1. It's the last ball/pass that is missing or it's always the last pass that goes wrong - well ffs yes, that's why it's the last

                            2. It's a good time to score - when is it a bad time to score?

                            3. Jan Mølby's famous quote in Denmark "2-0 is the most dangerous lead in football" - wtf? what happened to 1-0

                            4. The ball is round, everything can happen - usually used in regards of an underdog teams chances.

Yeah we get that - although it's usually "final ball".

If in doubt, put snow on it.
