I hope he does get a chance. I think it's better to have him on the bench than someone who is out of form. That goes for all players. If a player is out of form, ditch him from the squad, keep the bench for hungry players.

Where does he fit in then? Behind the striker? He'd be way down in the pecking order.

I just don't see where he gets games. I think he'll likely be loaned again or even sold, which will be a shame.

I can see him playing in the EL and Cups in a 4-3-3 based system on the right of a front three or central in the middle three.
