Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I won't be able to find the quote mate but it was said they're looking to bring someone in to play off Llorente and they've been linked with Suarez since last summer so I guess he's a target and Sanchez has been brought up a lot too, added with Barca looking to move him on as well so I'd guess there is something in that one too.

Imo they made some very smart and shrewed buys that will pay dividends very soon.
Yup. They have atleast tried to be different from other clubs who have come up from the Championship. I think they will solidify themselves as a top 8 team in a season or two.

Newcastle's main problem now is the fact that that many new signings could take a good while to bed into the side.

Wouldn't be surprised to see them lose several more games in coming weeks.

He has signed for them, according to SSN.

Chris Hughton confirmed his interest in Ricky van Wolfswinkel after Norwich City's shock FA Cup defeat by Luton Town, but the Sporting Lisbon striker could prove expensive. According to the Sunday Mirror, Sporting want £12million for Van Wolfswinkel after rejecting Norwich's initial offer of £8m.

Newcastle appear to have failed in their latest bid to sign a player from France after Bastia claimed they have rejected a €3million (£2.6m) offer for Florian Thauvin. The French club's chairman also says Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has shown an interest in the midfielder.

How many players have Newcastle bought this transfer window?

                            Yes, I know I'm lazy.

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew says he was interested in Wilfried Zaha before the Crystal Palace winger agreed to join Manchester United. However, Pardew feels he has got better value by bringing in five players from Ligue 1 this season after admitting Newcastle had 'no chance' of signing Zaha.
