I always thought Pique wasn't settling over here and/or couldn't get to grips with things tactically. Maybe I've just made this up.
    Hello mert.

Reports claiming a deal has been done for Tom Ince to join Liverpool are wide of the mark. No official bids have been received.

              Very good, Kennel.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

£4million would be a tidy bit of business for Ince, thankfully due to the sell-on clause we put in. He has the qualities we need in a wide player, and I assume he knows the area really well due to him coming through here.

Hopefully we get this wrapped up as quickly as possible.

If we paid him £25k per week in the meantime his wages would have been about £2m anyway. So it's only a £2m net expenditure in that sense.
                    Oh I don't know.

we could have secured this lad and then loaned him out to get the game time he wanted. piss poor management, maybe?

i reckon this lad will be the lad that we all want sterling to be, but ince is a little further developed already. he will score and make goals, and that is the bottom line.

and how refreshing is it to see all our transfer business in the headlines...

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

Is it really that bad? You make it sound like a catastrophe. It's a run of mill boring reasonably cheap signing.

And all our transfers have been headline news in my lifetime. Even Jack Hobbs.

But that's because he is still one of England's greatest ever cricketers.

Although sadly he turned out to be not so good at football.

i know what you mean, and maybe a catastrophe has been avoided in the resigning of this lad. what i mean is that if the management didnt see any future potential in this lad and were happy to let him go, but then he goes away and everyone thinks 'oops!' ...
i know ince wanted to play and thats why he went. signing him, and loaning him out would have meant we would have retained the control, rather than possibly losing a future star. that would have been a catastrophe.

If he were to have left at his young age and become successful elsewhere, I think that would have been a first in our modern (50+ year) history.

One player in thousands over a period 50 years is not a catastrophe, no matter how you try and dress that up.
