I don't think it's disrespectful or Hypocritical. I was fairly blinded by my love for him, as many were at the time. It's only now, in the cold light of day that I can see how badly he ****ed up. He set the club back 2 seasons with those buys. He didn't do it on purpose though. But it's wrong if people can't see that, or point it out.

Btw, Kenny is still a hero of mine. Always will be, along with Digger.

You can see now how he ****ed up? right ok, you got a crystal ball then? Considering our results so far, I think its a fair observation to say that had Suarez shown the goalscoring form he has this season, last season, then we would have had considerably more points. Or if Suarez had had the evra incident this season where would we be sitting in the league exactly? Our cup form when we beat a strong city over two legs, chelsea away, was evidence we could get results, but the league showed we were inconsistent. If you and others choose to write last season off as **** despite a quick look through many match days threads where the comments would often say we played well, couldn't finish for ****, unlucky, ****ing cross bars, missed penalties etc then that is your lookout. I don't personally see how you can say his signings set the club back two seasons when the purpose of buying them wasn't only for the 9 months he was in charge. Of course its fair enough a new manager may not rate a number of existing players when he comes to a club including any recent signings. But that doesn't mean those players wouldn't have excelled or at least produced a decent level come the second season (Henderson is showing signs of this now). Carroll is not a Rodgers style player, yet he was proving effective towards the end of last season and had Kenny been here he may well of been proving effective for us. The truth is we'll never know. That means you Alex my darling are unable just like me to prove or disprove our theories. So lets not go stating things as fact when clearly they aren't.

The latter of which has done precisely **** all of note so far to warrant it. I can predict certain posters that will take the baton up.

ince is decent - nothing more nothing less. we let him go for buttons last year for a reason (rumoured attitude was a big issue) and to buy him back 18 months later for 6mill region is scandalous.

walcott is a player who has lost his way of late but in recent games is showing a willingness to work hard to get back where he was. he's a threat who will not need time to settle or time to break in gently. if a price of 8 mill is being touted for walcott and we dont make a move it will be pretty poor on our part.
