I've now turned to watching some gig with Slash playing in Stoke on sky arts. The singer is a total bell end. Off.
    Oh I don't know.

Thomas Ince's return to Liverpool has edged a step closer after a deal was agreed with Blackpool.

Negotiations with the Reds and the Championship side had reached an impasse due to Tangerines chairman Karl Oyston attempting to hard bargain over the the 20-year-old winger's valuation.

Blackpool had hoped to command a fee in the region of £8 million for Ince, the son of former Liverpool and Manchester United legend Paul, but have since lowered their asking price.

Liverpool will be allowed to settle on their maximum £6 million outlay for the player, which will see them recoup £2.1 million as part of the pre-agreed 35% sell-on clause from the original deal that took him to Bloomfield Road 18 months ago for a mere £250,000 compensation package.

The England under-21 international will become Brendan Rodgers's second arrival in the transfer window, following Daniel Sturridge's £12 million capture from Chelsea last week.

FFS. We should not be in this position. Another transfer calamity during the Kenny/Comolli era.

I hoped that we'd never deal with Blackpool ever again & this is reminding me why. We shouldn't sell, loan or buy from them ever again.

has this not been explained enough times? cant believe this is still getting trotted out. he wanted first team football and first team wages. we weren't going to give him those things so he left. at the time there wasn't room for him, nor was he worth paying those wages. we got half a million for a player who had very little time on his contract and who wanted to leave. fair enough i'd say.

they had some failures in the market. this wasn't one of them.

What calamity? He's got months to run on his contract and he's available for free in the summer. At the time he probably wasn't good enough.
                              Are we winning?

@LDH Don't be daft. If BR was the manager then he would not have left. He should have gone on loan if he was going anywhere. And where is the evidence he wanted big wages?
