Reading boss Brian McDermott have confirmed that the club are after highly-rated Blackpool winger Thomas Ince.

The England under-21 star is also wanted by Brendan Rodgers' Liverpool, with the Seasiders looking for around £8million.

It is believed that Royals' opening bid of around £6.5million has been knocked back, but McDermott is confident that guaranteed first team football could convince the youngster to join his Premier League strugglers.

I think he'd prefer to come to us and I don't think he's in any great hurry to leave Blackpool as it was a very good move for him.

This is basically the same as Adam - they're either getting more money than he's worth or ward us off until the summer when the £6M valuation suddenly seems a lot more reasonable as he's then in his last year.

Not convinced Reading would be a good move seeing as they could easily get relegated.

If he goes to Reading or anywhere else for £8m, it'll be a nice little earner for us (35%).

... money which we'd then use to buy him. HA.

[Harry Redknapp]We get a club to buy him for 8, we buy him off them for 9, they get 1m profit, we get 1.8 mill left over off the 8 we were willing to spend. And we'll make sure there's a little something in it for me and you.

                      Jobs a good 'un.[/Harry Redknapp]

Haha. **** you Oyston you cunt.

Sounds like our bid is still on the table as a take it or leave it. Imagine they'll ignore it. Their problem - we'll just have him for nowt in the summer.

We ought to stop sending players to Blackpool on loan.

Oyston is in his own little world isn't he.

Inter Milan take our calls to sell a highly regarded Brazilian player and are prepared to negotiate. Yet Blackpool feel that Championship Tom Ince is too good to seel and won't even listen to offers.

Agree, why do them any favours with loans.
