Huge difference to scoring in the championship to scoring in the prem though.
Yes there is.
But he can only score past whats in front of him and he is, can't ask any more. If its so easy I wonder why Zaha who cost united £15m has only scored 5 compared to Ince's 15.
If we could bring him in for for £7m in the summer and move Downing on for £7m we'd be looking at a fantastic piece of business. Especially if the 35% clause is true.

If the 35% is true that means we'd get him for about 4.5m. Blackpool will not sell him at the price.

How can you know this? He'll be an extra 6 months further into his contract so he'd be able to sign a pre contract the following January (not with us I don't think). They're in the bottom half of the Championship if the player pushes for a move I'm sure we could work something out for a fee not too far from that figure. No way are they going to be getting £10m for him, more likely to get good fee from us basically because we'd have discount.

I'm basing this on how difficult Oyston has proven to be in the past. Ince will still have a year to go on his contract come the summer so I no reason why Oyston won't play hardball again. Blackpool want to clear £6m so unless we offer over £9m he won't be coming here imho.

I agree he's a cunt to deal with but I feel we're in a stronger position because as you say if they want £6m any side would have to offer £9m. But if we offer £9m we would essentially only be paying £6m.. Which is close to the £5m I was talking about earlier
Which all goes out the window if this 35% clause doesn't exist anyway

The 35% does exist it's been confirmed by the echo. We value him at £6m (around £4m when you take into consideration £35%) and it's been said we won't go any higher than that. I don't believe we're in a stronger position at all. As I said either we meet Blackpool's asking price or he won't be coming I'm convined of that.
