it cut to his mum, going ****ing nuts and shaking Paul Ince who was in brilliant 'dad mode' - didn't show any emotion, didn't bat an eyelid, sit down and stop making a scene, he's still got it all to do!

I'm not sure that's "Dad mode" - I think it's more "joyless gob****e mode".

i think the 6m ship has well sailed to be honest. Will be into double figures when he is eventually sold imo.

The more i see of him, the more i think we may have ****ed up.

I'm starting to think that had we paid what they wanted, in the long run...it would be us that got the better deal and not Blackpool.

Have to agree. I'd be going mental if my son scored a goal let alone 2 goals for the U21 national team.

Best example of a footballing Dad is Ian Wright - anytime Shaun scores a goal whether it's for England or for some reserves he goes bat-**** crazy.

you have to bear in mind that my dad once...when i was about 6/7, and he bought me my first pair of shin pads (****ty lfc kids ones that were a little bit of foam and some plastic stuck on the front) - i was running around my back garden thinking i was john barnes, and my dad says, do the shin pads work, "yes" then snap, he nailed me and left me on the floor tough love

he's great, top bloke, but old school - best way i can describe him is, if you ever watched Fresh Prince of Bel air, well my dad is exactly like the Uncle (Phil Banks) - same sort of build and demeanor

I think your right but then do we get ****ed over from Blackpool?
If Oyston wasn't such a Bellend, I would have liked to see us buy him for 8m then lent back to Blackpool till the end of season at least.

The only way we will end up in a better situation is that he is absolute adamant he is coming to us and who knows a deal like that may have been struck personally between Blackpool and Ince.

Stuff like that needs to be drilled into a lot of gob ****e drivers young and old.

If he really wants to come to us then why not put in a transfer request? Do we lose the 35% buyback if that happens?
