I looked for this thread to ask the same question after seeing the article on the BBC site.

I think Ince was the first promising kid we sold on and had the sense to put a sell on and first option clause after all of us moaning about how stupid we are with contracts for years and then he lets his contract run down and we'll end up getting nothing anyway

it was only 12 months or so ago that the papers were saying blackpool were trying to get 8m+ out of us. he was banging them in for fun at the time though. maybe his dad has trained all the flair and goals out of him now, and the papers were speculating he may go to swansea for only 4m.

If he is available on the cheap we'd be silly not to look into it I think, especially with the 25% thing. He'd take Moses place in the squad and would still get some playing time. Oyston seems to hate us though so I'm sure he'd try to stop any deal going through.

Blackpool have turned to **** in general. They've been on a terrible run of results and then had the Chopra tweet controversy the other day too. Tom Ince doesn't seem to be doing too badly though to be fair. Once he's gone I think they'll really struggle!
