He's better than "a decent Championship player". His record in the Championship with a pretty average side proves that. I think he should be able to hold his own in the Premier League. We'll see just how good he is now.

maybe we cant get saleh as he wanted to warm the chav bench and trouser 80k+ a week, but ince will be a decent option on the left flank. he wont replace sterling, he will balance the team.
if it means we can also direct funds at a top class DM such as fernando then its a no brainer.

i also agree. In relaity, Ince is probably a no-risk signing as even if he crashes and burns, then someone will pay £2m or whatever to take him off our hands...... so if he fecks up, then we'd essentially get our money back. He's not going to command huge wages either - so we will not end up with another Joe Cole, Downing or Aquilani on our hands where we end up paying someone to take him off our hands and keep paying 60% of his wages or whatever.... Ince could be the kind of signing that the transfer committee has a collective boner over....

I would much prefer us to sign Fernando and Ince instead of just Salah....
