Very true. I didn't realise the game needed saving?

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

FIFA and UEFA were set up by the French, no?
          Oh I don't know.

Not sure. Its possible I suppose but if true I would expect them to give up on this idea at the first sign on opposition.

When a player is fouled and as a result has to leave the field to receive treatment, the player who committed the foul should also have to leave until the injured player returns.

Why should the team who had the foul committed against them have the disadvantage of being one player down.

Because that would be extremely silly. Every time Messi fouled anyone they'd need 10 mins worth of treatment.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                        Mine angry and defrauded young?

Should be allowed 6 or 7 rolling subs like basketball to avoid that & the players would be fresher and therefore the game would be more exciting for the fans...
Thanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!
