There's surely no doubts that Sneijder is a world class player... the problem is that his wages are far too high even with our recent cuts and do we really need another centre mid over, say, some wide players or a left back?Comment

More on Inter Milan playmaker Wesley Sneijder from BBC Sport's Ben Smith: "Turkish club Galatasaray have already had a bid accepted for Sneijder but the player has indicated that does not want to join them. Inter had wanted the Holland international to take a pay cut on his current contract, but with the player not willing to accept reduced terms, the Italian club have decided to sell a player who only two years ago was considered among the very best in the world."
