I would really love this to be true and Sahin leaving has freed up some wages as well. It could actually happen. If we offered him a decent signing on fee along with wages in line with the higher earners we may actually get him. He's only 28, should be in his prime. Add the fact that his game is about technique and vision and not pace means he should stay top class for another 5 years.

seems to've lost his mojo a bit is all. sometimes a player hits the slump before he's old enough to start being bad. owen and fowler for example. granted owen was a pace merchant and fowler had injuries, but you know, thought i'd start with players we should all know
