You can't blame Taarabt for defending himself but Redknapp sounds more and more delusional than usual.

I think he's struggling with having Hoddle and Ferdinand there

"The fitness coaches at QPR, everybody tells me he doesn’t try.
Where's Redknapp then when all this is going on?

        Fair point Phoenix.
        3rd place. Worst champions ever.

So the player has gone from being three stone overweight only last week, to now having lost that weight in under a week due to tonsillitis.

          Classic bull**** from 'Onest 'Arry

Just another in a long line of bang average managers in England who keep getting jobs and get lauded as being top (or should that be Top Top? :P ) managers despite having done **** all of note for most of their decades in the game.

I think you're taking the 3 stone thing too literally. I suspect they're both dickheads.

Interesting that Redknapp has been hauled out in public by his owner at QPR for publicly criticising a player. This with the team bottom
QPR owner @tonyfernandes says on Redknapp-Taarabt public battle of the bulge: "The issue has been dealt with internally."

He's there taking the training session of course.

But the Hoops boss said: "I am the first one in that training ground every day at 7am and I am always out on the training field.”
So quite why the tax evading crook needs to rely on information is anyones guess.

Didn't 'Arry say he still gets up at 5am to head to the training ground the other day?

Definitely looks like he's being forced out. Surely shortest odds for the sacks?

Didn't he have a pop about Ferdinand's role recently?! It's rattled him.

Yeah he's surely the next manager to go. Seeing as Teflon Pardew ain't moving.

Not really. Just amused at how Redknapp jumps from one extreme to another in his lines of bull****.

He likes to state things as fact and then usually contradicts himself within an interview or two when called on his bul****.

Guys like him and Hodgson really should be managing nowhere near the top tiers of the game, be it league wise or internationally, yet spoofers like them keep getting jobs in the Premier league and keep churning out the same mediocre results.

Would sooner see a gamble taken on young managers who have cut their teeth at a lower level than the same old names getting recycled time after time when a job is available.

QPR manager Harry Redknapp says his row with midfielder Adel Taarabt is "done" and the club have "moved on".
Redknapp criticised Taarabt's fitness after last week's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool, claiming the Moroccan was "three stone overweight".

Taarabt, 25, rejected that claim in an interview with the Daily Mail, adding he was "fuming" not to be selected.

Redknapp now says he is "on [Taarabt's] side", adding "I'd be delighted if we could get him back fit and playing".

Redknapp said: ‘None of what he said was true. I’m out on that training ground every day. When people say I’m not there all morning, that is a blatant lie.

‘When you’re on someone’s side so much and you get let down, at some stage you crack. Like with your kid misbehaving, you say “don’t do that”. In the end you get the hump and you send them to bed. That’s how I felt on Sunday.’

Not until both Redkanpp and Trabat have left the club.

Redknapp, 67, was angry that QPR's head of football operations Les Ferdinand was given control over signings during the January transfer window. (Independent)
