I wonder if Klopp will consider his position in the summer if he loses both Gotze and Lewandowski, 2 very big loses for them, especially if they both go to Bayern.

Won't be easy to rebuild from there so he may well think about calling it a day, Hummels has been linked with Barca too.

Yea that's a huge one, £32 mil, confirmed on dortmunds website. Bayern met his release clause so there was nothing Dortmund could do to stop him from leaving.

Strange, Bayern are obviously well known for accumulating germanys best talents but I thought goetze would have wanted to stay given that he was a local boy and Dortmund are now a great side themselves.

It's a huge blow for Dortmund, he is a once in a few decades player in terms of talent, and cannot be replaced. I'd be very surprised if they managed to win back their title from Bayern next season now.

Bayen will win the title next year, no doubt. Getting Guardiola in now is a good move really no matter how good they have been this season, along with one or two players like Gotze the changes will probably keep them fresh and hungry for next season even after this amazing season.
            * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

You're really going out on a limb with that one, Weatherman.
              .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

If Dortmund can pick De Bruyne up then they'll be doing well, not too sure why Chelsea don't give him a chance tbh looks a really good player.

I'm not convinced that it will necessarily be as immediately successful a move as some. Guardiola's style is at least as different from that currently employed by Bayern as that of Rodgers is from that of Dalglish (at least from the outside perspective). In the long run I think it will work out but I think they may take a season to adapt (at least in Europe - in Germany they should have too much quality and depth over a full season to be seriously challenged).

I'm told Spurs scouts are at Real Sociedad tonight watching Roberto Soldado. They may leave most impressed by Vela - ex Arsenal.

West Ham will try to buy Everton striker Nikica Jelavic, 27, after deciding the £17m fee to make 24-year-old Andy Carroll's loan move from Liverpool permanent is too high.

. @SPORTBILD report that Götze turned down a €20m per year offer from Man City last month. that's GBP 331k per week...
                        Ridonkulous (if true).

                            Bloody hell.

I'd play for any team in the world for that sort of wedge. Even in goal if needed.
