Wrexham is such a non-story. If it wasn't for Hollywood it'd be just a regular non-league promotion. Wonder how long the veneers will last before they come off...

Not non league but perhaps the same level, watched shamrock rovers vs Shelbourne tonight in Dublin, Damien duff managing Shelbourne, decent second half but quality from both sides well and truly lacking.

And they are two of the "better" sides in the league.


I go to Turners Cross on a semi regular basis so can only dream of the quality you saw. Only team we get to scoff at is UCD and they beat us the game before last

Shelbourne up next but that is an away game up in Dublin so thankfully will miss that.

Stockport last season got barely any coverage - returning to the Football League after a few years out of it. Barrow was much more of a fairytale, they got nothing compared to the fawning over Wrexham, who've spent a ****ton of money on L1 players and predictably pissed the league. Just don't understand how anyone thinks it's a 'fairytale', it's National League financial doping. They're lottery winners, no different to City.

I do like the two owners tbh - I like how invested they are, they seem nice guys and their enthusiasm is infectious. They've already spent more time watching Wrexham than JWH & co have done watching us ffs. Also know a good few die-hard Wrexham fans and they deserve it. What is slightly irksome is they were getting crowds of about 2500 and now they get about 10k lol. I guess that's part of the job - growing the club - but there's a load of jonny-come-latelys jumping on the bandwagon all acting the Billy Big Bollocks, just like modern online City fans. They can get to ****.
