The Salford boys don't have their money, nor their ability to generate income. S2 of Welcome to Wrexham will blow up. More ifollow income, more merch sales, maybe overseas tv rights? After bagging United at a huge ticket price, pre season tours of the US from next year?

What a crock of ****. By that logic, every team is financialy doped including Liverpool.

          How’d you work that out?

They’re a non-league team paying League 1 coaching and playing talent League 1 wages.

Yeh to be fair,They probably hoped to have the same effect on Salford as they are having on Wrexham now.

To be fair I enjoyed those Salford docs, But they seem to be just an average league 2 club now. The Class of 92 mystique seems to have rubeed off, bbut then they don;t have the passion, brains or energy of those 2!

Can’t be ****ed with any of the Wrexham hysteria. Just don’t get it. They have money and influence so what’s the surprise in them doing so well…

As for the platitudes for other clubs, let’s just see what their attitudes are like when they’re in a slump, a relegation fight, or with loads of injuries. Easy to be nice when you’re on the crest of a media and popularity wave…

So far at least, Rob and Ryan seem to be pretty sensible and they do seem to be falling for the sport.

Their number one resource is their profile and they are using that very well to the clubs advantage. Getting Parkinson in was clever and he should be there for a while. Fun story and I am following them and rooting for them. They also really boosted interest on lower league football in England.
                * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

                  Are they breaking any rules?

The big problem with financial doping in the PL is that it's sourced from shady sources - oligarchs and terrorist states.

If some rich ****er legitimately spent their own money, or used their influence to get legitimate sponsorship to improve a club then fair play. It's no different to how our commercial team bring in revenue. It's only recently that dirty ****s have entered the sport and boosted sponsorship funds via deceptive means.

Their owners have put over £10m of their own money into the club. That’s £10m more than FSG have and not the same as Liverpool’s self sustained model at all.

Granted they haven’t broken any regulations because there aren’t any, but they have still distorted the competitiveness of the league with a massive financial disparity.

The comparisons with City on a financial and competitive level are fair.

I don't really know or care enough to say that what they are doing is that similar to City, just wanted to chip in that in no universe is Rob McElhenney a nobody or B-grade star as some users have suggested on this page

Yeah, they've bought the league, but Wrexham have endured hard times so i don't feel any ill-will to them.

It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is ****ing ****e.

He sure as hell is not a house hold name A lister like Sky tried to make him out to be either. Hollywood megastar was what they called him.

So if you are not an A lister, then the next step down is B lister.

I honestly did not have a clue who he was. Ryan Reynolds yes, Rob McElhenney not a scooby until I googled him.

Don't really see it as slagging him off either to simply say one never heard of the guy before.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
