I had to take 10's at fatcrooks. Was 11's but they cut the price as i was submitting.

Wanted £10 on us to win 6-0 when it was 4-0 and got distracted by the bairmaid on facebook chat

It's Darren Bent! I'd forgotten he existed.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Don't know what hurts your chances of 7-1 more Benteke coming off or Bent coming on.

What did Di Canio do to upset the Villa fans?

This'll do Villas goal difference the power of good. It's like an extra point down the bottom.

Di Canio already has previous with Aston Villa when, after his former club Swindon lost 3-2 to the Premier League side in October, he made a gesture which Villa supporters perceived as saying their club was going down this season.

It's likely to be a hostile reception for Di Canio tonight, who compared it to going to watch the late Luciano Pavarotti in concert. Somehow, I don't think Villa fans will be singing Nessun dorma to him.

"I wasn't worried about Newcastle who are the worst enemy supporters for us, so you can imagine, I'm not worried about Villa Park," said Di Canio. "For me, it's like going to the theatre or seeing Pavarotti when he was still alive. It's an easy place to go."

The relegation games at the end of the season are fantastic viewing.

Villa ahead of Newcastle by a better goal difference of 1!

Ta. He got some right stick tonight, wondered what he'd done. Apart from being a fascist.

I could watch Neville talk about football for ages. So interesting.

Never thought I'd ever say that.
