I know it's so, so wrong but a part of me hopes a minority of England fans shame themselves again tonight. Saw that EDL ****wit saying they're "taking a tidy mob to Wembley to sort out the plastic Paddies". Go on then, you cunt, turn up and make ****s of yourselves. Please.

Imagine Hodsgon out on the pitch trying to calm down the fans etc etc, while FIFA are drawing up a 'behind-closed-door' ban for the FA.

Do we think Sturridge will start?

Woy on the pitch while EDL morons waded into each other would be awesome

Bet they wouldn't do it if it wasn't at Wembley.

I hate internationals at the best of times, but Roy Hodgson internationals, my god it's like twisting the knife.
The times they are a changin'.

Not sure if he'll be starting though?

Only asking as I have him as first scorer. PP are doubling the odds if he gets a 2nd at any point.
                    Hello mert.

That's what I meant - the journos had him in the starting XI.

Cheers - managed to swerve everything about this game so far apart from what's in this thread.

Was at the game back in 95.. was shocking. Really hope nothing happens tonight, but sure there is always going to be a small minority of morons that will make ****ing idiots of themselves.

Speaking as an irishman.. i hope the irish behave themselves, i'm sure they will. Doubt Ireland will win though and could be right stinker!

Do yourself a favour then, and give the match a miss. I mean it's Hodgson's England against Trappatoni's Ireland FFS.

In fact, we'd be better off if ITV, or whomever it is, just turn the camera inwards onto the crowd so we can see if there are any neanderthals stirring things, rather than watching that ****e.

                            /cue 4-3 epic

I remember Hodgson calling Chris De Burgh a "****ing Irish *******"

This is likely to be the dullest 0-0 game in the history of football.

I hate watching Ireland at the best of times but my christ I'd rather watch grass grow than this one.

                                I'll give it a miss.
