I imagine Chelsea's, Arsenal's, United's and even City's forth choice CB are just as bad if not worse.

He's deffo not good enough to be starting more than one game at a time, but I still think he's a decent forth choice - not to mention he's done it all before, that experience will deffo benefit everyone around him on the training ground and such. For just a season, he's not a terrible guy to have in the team.

West Brom was a bad mistake, today was just bad luck. Was our best centre back, while Skrtel was atrocious on both goals, he seems to fall apart away from home, Newcastle, Hull, Chelsea, City and tonight. The clean sheets will magically reappear when Agger is back as usual.

Now that Agger is back and Sakho returning soon, the Skrtel-Toure partnership should be binned for the rest of the season.

Think his confidence is shot as well. The way he just barged into the ref, telling. Needs time away from the spotlight, especially with so much at stake now.

No one is saying he is a great player, but he did decent jobs for Arsenal and City. It is evident man is low on his confidence and made 2 mistakes of which one costs us 2 points. He is 32 and was brought for his experience and cover and not as our 1st choice CB. We will have Agger and Sakho back and things will improve defensively.

I feel he did a decent job as cover barring 3 games and he did have an assist for Sturridge against Everton and Sterling Vs the Arsenal.

He is not a great player but he is not **** like Kyrgiakos or Konchesky types we had few seasons back.
