I often look back at peoples views before getting involved. Saves circular debates.

Anyway, thats pointless. Can we just get back to debating what to do about a problem called Kolo, please?

I think I'd go for DWW's suggestion and play him alongside Agger (if fit) on Sunday. I would expect to see a big improvement.

On another note, Mertesacker must already be having sleepless nights knowing he's coming up against Suarez and Sterling again so soon.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yeah, he needs to keep going to play his way out of this **** form. Dropping him could be the end of his time with us, which would be a shame as it seems as though he is popular.

Really? You think in this stage of the season we can afford to let a player play his way into form? Personally I wouldnt risk our season. Suspect he can still contribute off the field even if he is not playing.

I remember Toure with a fondness from his younger days at Arsenal. I would dream of having a player like him and Essien. We'd be unstoppable. Shame to see how both of those players have declined, happens to everyone I suppose.

If it was a league game Id say I agree. But its not, its the cup. While it would be great to have a day at Wembley. Winning this is so low on my list of wants this season that it feels like a practice game.

I think we should use it as an opportunity to get Agger and Skrtel to get some understanding back. Sakho still a while off and Agger has been out for an extended time. Need to take this opportunity to try and get the defence functioning properly.

But he was excellent alongside Agger before getting injured and very good (according to reports and results) when called upon for City last year. His best days aren't that far behind him just yet.

It was his complete lack of confidence that had him put the ball in our net.

He started to panic even before to the ball got to him.

A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

Come on guys, he is a good player who's been having a bit of bad luck recently. Honestly, I can't believe this slagging off our own players, calling them cunts and so on. It's below us, seriously. To debate if someone is good enough for our team is ok, name calling and personal attacks lacks class IMO. I'm all for debating and this is what forums are for, but we should at least have the decency (decency?!? sp?) to show a little respect to people.

At least when the team is doing good, as they are right now

Its not rocket science we have two right sided centre backs as a pair.....the good news is the two lefties are almost back.

                          Balance is key
