I'm assuming that you do know we didn't pay £25 m for Sakho right? it was just an example right?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Are you insinuating that Sakho is or will be a poor signing?
      * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Was reading back and was gonna post some of the let's say, non too complementary posts about Kolo, but couldn't be ****ed.

But I'll just add this one...

Bleediin hell, clearly most people on here haven't watched him lately. Hope we don't need to bring him off the bench all season
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

          :hi-5:

I know he was out of contract at City, but what was the deal there? Did they refuse to offer him a new one?

          More fool them if so.

Aye, contract was up and City deemed him surplus to requirements. They really could have did with him this year too.

The people of Sligo seem to be big fans of Kolo..... and Yaya too!

He could play defensive midfield couldn't he? Think it's where he played for half an hour against Manure in the league cup. And he was decent!
                Are we winning?

Watch: Students stop traffic in Newcastle with Toure chant

                  16 Oct 2013 16:20

Traffic in Newcastle city centre was stopped bizarrely in the early hours of Wednesday morning as students singing about Manchester City player Yaya Toure and his brother and ex-Blue Kolo blocked the streets.

It's not the Etihad, it's not Mary Ds - it's not even Manchester.

But Collingwood Street, in Newcastle city centre, was bizarrely turned Blue for ten, traffic-stopping minutes in the early hours of Wednesday morning thanks to a City terrace anthem.

At around 3am dozens of sozzled students spilled out of nightclubs and launched into the Yaya and Kolo Toure chant - leaving furious taxi drivers beeping their horns and viewers of the bizarre video below scratching their heads.

The M.E.N. tracked down the man who took the footage and all became (just about) clear.

City fan Joe Friar, 20, is currently studying sports coaching at Northumbria University.

He explained: "One of my flatmates is a Chelsea fan and he loves the Yaya/Kolo Toure chant and the actions after seeing me do it.

"We came out of a club and he started doing it in the middle of the road for some reason.

"I'd had a few so I joined in, being a Blue, and then loads of other people who were coming out of clubs started doing it as well and it seemed to catch on. It's pretty easy to pick up.

"It ended up going on for about 10 minutes - it was bizarre."

Joe, from Sale, added: "I'm the only City fan on my course so it was mental to see all these people in the middle of Newcastle doing a City chant."

The road was temporarily brought to a standstill while the tribute to the Ivory Coast brothers played out to its drunken conclusion.

"The taxi drivers were furious - beeping their horns," said Joe.

"It eventually stopped and we went off to the 24-hour McDonalds."

Reminds me of a few years ago me and 3 mates came up to stay overnight in Liverpool after a Thursday night european game, cup winners cup I think (so many years ago). We'd been to the Cavern Club with our tops on, I left/was ejected a little earlier than my mates, I started singing the Stan Collymore song whilst waiting for the others, within 20 minutes there were about 100-150 of us singing it. I managed to climb on top of a hot dog stand and there were people up lamposts etc, went on for ages. The old bill turned up and we all legged it. Shame camera phones weren't about!
