If this injury forces through a transfer for Sakho then perhaps it's a blessing in disguise?

I'm 87% sure it's sarcasm, but then I start doubting myself.
I actually think I'm being about 74% sarcastic, but it was a comment certainly in keeping with the 'sky is falling' tone here last night.
It is unfortunate, but in reality it could have happened in any game this season, so we just got to deal with it (although at least we still have the window if Brendan feels we need to do something).
Let's just hope it's a one-off and that's it for the season. Now Kolo will have some time on his hands to pretend he's a car salesman again

I think it was bad management to play Kolo yesterday. He's had relatively little football in the past 18-24 months so 3 full games in 12 days (would have been 4 in in 16 if he'd made Utd) is possibly asking too much of a 32 year old.
Both Kolo and Gerrard should have been rested yesterday. Clearly Rogers was scarred by the Oldham result & that has affected his judgement. End of the day it's all about the league and getting top four. You can win a cup & still get sacked at this club now.

Resting Toure for last night is a temptingly easy call in hindsight.
So who should have played instead? Agger? With his record surely he was just as likely to pick up an injury.
Skrtel? He hasn't played a game so he could have picked up an injury. And, since he's not seen as good as Toure, it would have increased the possibility of losing the game.
And the same applies even more to anyone who doesn't even have Skrtel's experience.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
