Accepting that individual errors which lead directly to crucial goals conceded are infuriating at the best of times, that there is never a good time for it to happen, and that they do inevitably happen from time to time....

Let's have a think about the number of goals conceded from errors last season, and compare that to this. I think you'll find that this is yet another area where we have improved this season.

So 2 points carelessly thrown away, yes. But there were many more than that thrown away last season.

I don't think we played as badly as some try to make out...you're not going to steam-roller every side, no matter where they are in the table. However, for all WBA's possession and pressing, they created one good chance from a corner (great save by Mignolet) and one good free kick (again well saved and held). Other than that, the only other good chance they had came from our own **** up, and they took it.

We made 36 defensive errors last season,10 of which led to goals.

So far this season we've made 28,6 of which led to goals.

Not sure that constitutes much of an improvement given there's still 14 games to go.

I think in fairness Sarb you are overreacting.

You had a bit of a ****house response to Kolo, and your general chat about the transfers and stuff has been largely negative. People are always gonna jump on that. Rose tinted spectacles or not.

If I came out and said that Aspas was as good as Suarez id expect a certain response, and I think in calling Kolo you'd know you would come up against a certain response. Debate is good, but if you have an 'out there' point you cant spit your dummy out when people call you on it.
