I know something similar was posted few days ago by James Pearce but I find it hard to believe that the agent, who's job is to find the best possible terms for his client, would not even listen to our or other clubs offers and only consider BVB.

By the same token, it is hard to understand that the player himself would do the same without find it out what we were going to offer.

No issues if he considered our proposal and declined but the way it was explained, for me, things just don't add up.

I have a problem with this, we need a reality check, yes we have a famous name but at the end of the day we've finished 8th and 7th in the league the last two seasons, we don't have champions league football to offer, we don't even have one of the biggest stadiums in the league now it's only about 6th biggest now, other than a trophy cabinet to look at we have to accept thy we are not challengers anymore and it may take several years to get back to being challengers as we need to expand the stadium and desperately need financial fair play to be able to compete at the top end of the transfer market.

So, unfortunately, if you look at a club like Dortmund it's more likely players will be saying who are Liverpool.
