Yeah and they've got ties to their European counterparts. It's also, one of the reasons why Ayre has never been sack.
    Are we winning?

He's not coming, if Shaktars release clause is 23 million does that only apply to their's portion? So if their portion is valued at 23 million the only way we were going to make the deal is if their portion is around 90% which I doubt. Sounds like they value him at about 40 million or more even.

I suspect it's a case of his price being saying 30m Euros because Shaktar have to pay portions of that to the other 2 parties. Ridiculous really that this kind of ownership structure is still allowed

Sounds like Shakhtar are really taking the Mkhi.

Aye, i was about to write a post saying the same thing, and how Fifa, uefa should have rules set in stone on such issues so it can't happen like this.

But then i thought, maybe without it some good players may never have got their chance, but i'm not sure if that's the case with such issues, would these players have been spotted anyway when youngsters without the help of these people and this 3rd party ownership ?

I expect it's something people with a few quid do a lot, especially in poorer countries, buying up shares in young players that look like they could be the next big thing.

If so we should really try to go the extra mile and secure this one, if we have to pay a little bit more so be it. It would be a positive message to the rest of the team and other teams if we can get a player like him from a CL club.

Yeah I think that pretty much sums it up. If you think about it, aren't you basically just buying a person? You can pretty much do as you please with them. Seems like the players pretty much lose control over their future and where they can and can't go. Probably sign up with these guys when they are just starting out and hoping to make it.

Not just because we want Henrikh, but think the whole practice should be banned

I guess I don't really object to the idea of people investing in a young player and reaping a profit if they're successful, it's the influence over the player that is problematic. The fact that they basically act as a pimp, deciding where a player will go/live and who they'll play for. If such a system is going to exist in needs to be properly regulated in order to protect the interests of what are basically kids.

Yeah. It is basically pimping. You can slate these players for getting into such agreements, but like it was said above, they probably are from the poorer countries and are sold on the idea that these guys will help them make it big and set them up for life. They don't appear to have any control over where they go which is a pretty sad thing really

It's just highly annoying is all, that we have a deal with the club, and he should be on his way to Anfield now!

Tbh, i'm not sure LFC will want to do business with them now, if they kept this quiet through all the negotiations, agreed a fee with us, then dropped this ****e about another owner on us, or let us find out ourselves i don't know which, but it can't have gone down well with the club.

Shame really, if he really is all that.

We'll get to see how much we really want him now i suppose, will we just drop it, or try to find a way through all the ****e ?

Eriksen would be a good call as well.....

Fischer would also be a class addition.....

And Toby.... give Ajax 35m and we might get all 3.......

I doubt that we have any chance to sign up another top class player. It is Heno or no one.
                                No need to panic Arn.

I'm sure BR has more than 2 or 3 options for each position he wants to straighten so just calm down.
