As long as he doesn't agree to 10 points above the vig. Any interest gets tagged to the principle and it's a visit from the men with hairy knuckles.

We don't know if he's handed in a transfer request or been promised a move. Footballers are have every right to work for whom they choose and if their current employers are being dicks about it then striking seems a viable alternative.

I hope #LFC are keeping everything kosher with regards to this #Mkhitaryan deal. Player is on strike, forcing a move.
Don't like that kind of ****, if true of course.

Tbh it sounds like his club and the hierarchy there have acted like complete cunts towards him - reneging on clauses/agreed terms in his contract. Many of us getting ****ed about by our employers like that would do similar. I know I would. Going on strike
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Looks like he had a term in his contract and Shaktar are going back on it. That's out of order really. It's their fault for putting that clause in. Out of order really.

Aside from being out of order isn't that illegal? No wonder this is such a complicated deal!

Wasn't it reported earlier that we agreed a 22m fee but the deal didn't happen because they wanted it up front and we wanted to pay in installments.

Therefore we haven't got 20m up front to give him to pay his club off.

They've been telling anyone who'll listen that they'll accept £25.5m, now we are making it known we may be able to get him for just under £20m in the hope of getting them to meet us in the middle and do this deal the correct way.

The bit about the money up front/we want to pay installments. You gave me a bollocking yesterday saying Goal.com knows jack ****.

Ah, no, it wasn't a bollocking. I was just saying that they never get anything right. They said Arsenal were going to break their transfer record three times in a week, supposed to happen about 3 weeks ago.

Pretty much backtrack on every story they do.

Would be a brilliant window if this pans out, serious contenders for top 4 for the first time in years.
