I think he'd cost too much mate in all honestly. I thought Eriksen would have been our plan B but apparently our scouts weren't impressed by him in recent games they had watched. I would personally prefer us to by Wanyama/Kondogbia but going by Rodgers recent comments he really wants another creative player. If that's the case I'd go for Adem Ljajic. I know he's had his issues but he's a very good player and seems to be developing at a good rate, especially as a left sided attacking player.Originally posted by Arn View Post

We'll pay near 10 million for some kid who has barely played football, but as soon as its a player that may actually pretty much walk straight into the first team so he'll cost it becomes a saga. Pay the price, negotiate for a bit then walk away as there is no point wasting time and effort if its a couple of million your quibbling over just **** it off or pay it. Just don't drag it out for months, we could be targeting someone else.Comment

Either him or maybe a top class young player involved in a deal for Suarez.

I thought I'd feel more suicidal than this when it inevitably fell through but then I had what alcoholics refer to as a moment of clarity and I remembered I'd never heard of him before anyway.
