I think the point is that the EU has made specific exemptions for football in some areas of law but not all. If the FFP rules break the law and no exemption is in place then Arn is right. I would expect though that some sort of negotiation would take place as it did with teh Bosman and Webster cases before.

Now that FFP starts properly this year I think clubs that are outside of the top 4(like ManU) are going to struggle to get back in without doing a structured rebuild getting rid of the top end earners at the club. The chavs are 49 mil in debt so they are going to have to be mindful of spend and ensure they make CL place because they won't be able to buy there way back in if it's in forced correctly. That's a big IF.
I think LFC as a club has been set up really well by FSG and the timing and position we are currently in is very promising.Go **** yourself

They still have to buy well and at the moment with the style of football they are playing I cannot imagine top top top players queuing up to play under Moyes. I personally think/hope they are going to struggle for a few years.Originally posted by dom9 View PostIf it is enforced properly...
I have a feeling that United have a massive 'war chest' in the bank from their failure to spend big in the summer, so that should see them through the next couple of windows at least I suppose.Go **** yourself
