He has been terrible for them but sometimes I think it's just a case of someone picking the wrong club. He's clearly talented but I don't think it suits him at Chelsea. I think he picked them for all the wrong reasons (money). He was never going to start for them.

Agree with you. I reckon he was probably heavily over-priced but is obviously better than he's shown. That's what happens when you don't play much. If you evaluated Mata on his form this season you'd think he wasn't up to much either.

Willian has ability but doesn't do nowhere near enough in any games i've seen him play. Maybe he's just not suited to the premier league? For that price you expect a quality player to hit the ground running... no excuses for Willian.

It's interesting to see the excuses being rolled out for Willian, but when a case is made for one of our own players who is of a similar age, only cost a fraction of the price, has been unfortunate with injury, some just aren't interested.

Too early to write Willian off (even if I am glad we didn't sign him), but equally if we are gonna make excuses for him, we may as well give Aspas a chance to prove himself too.
