I don't really see where he'd fit in at United, he can play on the wings but he's not really that kind of player, especially the way United use wide players. They already have Kagawa to play in behind the striker and Moyes seems adamant Rooney won't be leaving so unless they've got some master plan to use him in midfield with Carrick there isn't any room.

I'm not arsed. We've bought well thus far and we're in profit. We'll always have to pay that bit more to make sure we secure CL standard players, especially ahead of other interested clubs who are in the CL. I'll be made up if we get him. Juicy attacking options.
