He's played a grand total of two times for the Brazil senior side and that was in 2011. How could he possibly secure a work permit? If you google it, this was brought up as an issue 18 months ago when Chelsea were supposedly after him and I can't see how anything has changed in the interim. Has he managed to get a European passport since then?
