Sergio Ramos is 100/1 to win the Ballon D'or on Paddypower. If ya think Spain are going to win the World Cup (I dont but it's hardly impossible) then thats a hell of a bet. Outstanding in a CL winning campaign for Real and Spain havent conceded a goal in a Euro's or World Cup knockout stage since what 2006 (not bad given he's apparently a liability!) so if they win it again it'll likely be with the usual awesome defence and boring attacking play. He wouldn't be deserving but a CL and World Cup double will not go unnoticed. Cannavaro won it in 2006, I've seen worse 100/1 shots, much worse.

To be fair, that Real team is nowhere as good as the team that Zidane played in. They're a boring side really, which thrives on counter attacking football. They should be more pleasing on the eye with the talent they have.Originally posted by danperkins View PostLoved watching them when I was kid before the whole galacticos bull**** when Michel, Hugo sanchez, hierro and butrgeuano used to play for them. Despise them now but do like bale and RonaldoAre we winning?

Yeh their not great to watch alright.. Spend disgusting amounts of money. Really wanted them to win nothing this season. Thought it would be a much closer contest.Originally posted by Nigey View PostTo be fair, that Real team is nowhere as good as the team that Zidane played in. I don't really understand all the **** he gets. Starter for Real & Spain, but a liability?Originally posted by Chris View PostSergio Ramos is 100/1 to win the Ballon D'or on Paddypower. I don't think it's a justified question because the goal wasn't in the 4th minute of extra time. It's not like it was 94:59 on the clock. And even though you can argue it should have been less, there were quite a lot of fouls, yellow cards and subs which lead to some refs adding additional time.Originally posted by cream View PostShould there have been 5 mins added time ?
I'm not fond of either team, but it is a shame how it ended. Oh well, happy for Alonso and Ancelotti.

He gets sent off about 5 times a season and is at fault for so many goals. I watch Spanish football every week. Sure he fell over the ball last week and cost Madrid the game. He's a defensive liability and not a ****ing chance in hell of him getting the balon dor. Do like his commitment though.Originally posted by Dave.W View PostI don't really understand all the **** he gets. Starter for Real & Spain, but a liability?
