How do these failures get job offers? England must have a chronic lack of managers and coaches.

I think he's a decent coach is Hughton. But when you manage poor/smaller sides, your shelf life is always going to be limited, its inevitable. Always try's and gets his sides to pass it. Its Brighton ffs, he'll be fine for a season or so.

Steve Bruce to Newcastle is doing the round 'ere.

With Hull apparently wanting to replace him with Hoddle.

                  Hoddle.

What do you reckon Giblet? Will Bruce go? It seems strange for someone who has managed 700 clubs in five years to distance himself from the job.

Unless he's not received the call from Ashley. Or he doesn't want to work for the fat *******.

I thought I saw on Sky Sports that his win rate with Newcastle was over 50%..? He was really poorly treated by that fat **** owner iirc.

Tony Pulis is set to be named West Brom head coach on a two-and-a-half-year deal to succeed the sacked Alan Irvine.

Any reason why he didn't hold out for the Newcastle job? It's a big club with a decent recruitment policy, and Pulis needs to make a step up eventually. Stoke, Crystal Palace and West Brom aren't exactly signs of evolution in his career.

Don't know probably knowing Mike Ashley would interfere,Pulis has made it known he wants total control over all football and Transfer side of things,he wouldn't get this at Newcastle
